"Adore You" is a vocal by English vocaliser and songwriter Harry Styles from his 2nd studio album, Fine Line (2019). It was released through Erskine and Columbia Records as the anthology's second unmarried on vi Dec 2019. The song was written by Styles, Amy Allen, Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson, with Harpoon handling the production and Johnson serving as a co-producer. The video opens in the fictional "pout-shaped" isle of Eroda (Admire spelled backwards), a small fishing village located somewhere in the middle of the sea, where the inhabitants have "resting fish [faces]" and no one smiles.[86] [87] [88] The fishermen in the folkloric isle are superstitious and clothing unmarried gold earrings for good luck.[82] The clip and so cuts to a scene where a baby having a bright smile on his face is built-in.[28] [87] The post-obit scenes show the boy growing up to become Styles, who has a "peculiar" ability to blind everyone with his grin.[87] Terrified, the townspeople ostracize him which leaves Styles feeling similar an outcast, and he withdraws from society.[81] The prune then shows him spending his days past screaming into empty jars, to give vent to his pent-upwards distress for being different.[89] Withal, when the jars are not enough, he heads to the ocean in an attempt to drown himself, and stumbles beyond a "golden-dappled" small fish flapping on the rocks.[85] The fish is also unhappy and feels alone and appears to be trying to end his life too. Styles decides to take the fish home with him and the two brainstorm to bail.[84]
